June 16, 2010 Orange County, CA Actor/Producer/Director Scott L. Schwartz visited Children’s Hospital of Orange County and spent several hours giving out extra large teddy bears to the patients. Scott enjoys making the children smile and does what ever he can to help brighten their day. Today he left a lot of children very happy with their large lifelike size teddy bears to comfort them when no one else is around…
Scott L. Schwartz is widely known as the “Ultimate Bad Guy” from his acting career which includes: Ocean’s 11, 12 & 13, Starsky & Hutch, Fun With Dick And Jane, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Star Trek Voyager, and many more feature films. But on Wednesday June 16 Scott reprised his most cherished role of the “Ultimate nice guy”… Scott L. Schwartz has been visiting children’s hospitals worldwide for the past 12 years after losing his sister to lung cancer in 1998. After that he realized the value and impact in making a lasting impression on these children with cancer and how important it is to make each child feel special and cared about. Scott enjoys visiting the cancer centers and bringing what joy he can into the lives of every child he visits, they are always smiling when he leaves the rooms and usually begging him to return soon.
